To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

tommystyle Pre-Searing Cadet Join Date: Jun 2006 Guild: MfG Profession: W/Mo	RSS-Feed for WebAdministrators - RSS-Feed containing guild members and character information A system that is used in "Dark Age of Camelot" (Mythic) shows stats and skills (e.g. http://camelot-europe.goa.com/herald...uilds/1723.xml) which are updated every now and then during the day. Auto-Updated memberlist would allow guild-website-administrators to have Memberslisting which aren't out of date all the time. PHP5 allows with SimpleXML an easy-to-use XML-handling and I am sure a weekend after releasing such a RSS-Feed Project, the Community will have written a PHP-Kit Extension to use your newsfeed. I would personally invest time to help defining and creating such a Feed and help webadministrators to plug the information on to their guild-homepages. Mfg-Mamm aka tommystyle
